My dear Icarus and I were a mere duo.

Or maybe, just maybe, that’s what we thought we were.

Not even a soul heartened my Icarus and I, as they utter “A skimpy yet feeble wings will never be good enough for a Sun”

Ah, the God of the sun had told us,

We will never be in one breath, neither one as a body.

But darling, We tried anyway.
